Wednesday is back to normal

You heard it here first folks, no more lyrics. Back to the regular boring greeting, or long winded verbal assult on a certain topic. As for today, a simple greeting will do just fine. It's good to be back in the saddle again. (I really wish that quote didn't relate to Steven Tyler...)

Monday is a Mountain

Climbing over your mountain baby, stuck in the alpine. Focusing on the transition, of relating to me. I've been carrying some weight now honey, over time. I'm ready to drop the baggage, but its stuck on my mind. The peak is in view, with no direct path. I'm avoiding your crevasse in fear of getting stuck. I'm edging around your lifestyle without a belay. I'm looking up your headwall, the climb is full of scree. For now all I can do is traverse your walls, hoping not to glissade. I don't want to fail you baby but your weather’s rough. I'm climbing but I feel as though I'm stuck. I just want to please you, hope I’ve got enough, love.

Monday Was

I've got to rearrange my life, I've got to rearrange my world. I miss you, I need you. I've got to keep my memories aside, I've got to try to live again. Time was when there were things around to be afraid of. I've got cause, I've even changed my mind to turn the tables. Time was when there was no need to stop and rearrange it. Now I've got a memory and I don't want to change it. And there's a time for waking up and feeling down, It's when you have to pick your feet up from the ground. Time was when I had you around, I was a strong man. I need you to help make the change and be a new man. Takes more than a day and a night for giving. It's not so easy just to change your way of living. Time was when there were things around to bother me. The crime was, I couldn't start to change my history.

Friday, Everyone Is My Friend

I know what I have to do and do it. I know what I have to do and do it. But don't know what it is until I’m done. I know it must be rough, you're so much smarter than your friends. Come clean in jokes. Integrity in tennis shoes. Waiting thinking how'd I like to be kept waiting. Territory mutinies horizon. Disease teaches immunity. A promise implied can't be broken. And even now in the sunlight with grapefruit juice and coffee bound and bounded to winter without end would you two like each other or are you too alike? I know what I have to do and do it. I know what I have to do and do it. But don't know what it is until it's done. I’ve been inventing you and continue inventing you. May we all make it home safely. I know it must be rough, you're so much smarter than your friends. Rehearsing disasters and forecasting all your needs. I dance early then got shy and had to go home early. The mirage will fade as it unfolded. The plot's defamed it's own voltage. A promise at the time can't be beat. And even now as the snow is opening it's whole in pieces and wets each grieving hold of last year's trash it's not impossible to think of you thinking of me. Way we all make it home safely.

Wednesday is Vismund Cygnus

The ocean floor is hidden from your viewing lens. A depth perception languished in the night. All my life I’ve been sewing the wounds but the seeds sprout a lachrymal cloud. My nails peel back when the taxidermist ruined goose stepped the freckling impatience. All the brittle tombs, five hundred little q’s. I’m splitting hairs to match the faces. All night long I’ll hunt for you, let me show you what I mean. Now this train don’t lie, an abortion that survived. A lineage of bastard mastication, all the severed proof talons scratch my suite. These are the feathers that replace them. All night I’ll hunt for you, let me show you what I mean. Who do you trust? Will they feed us the womb? Chrome the fetal mirage. Will they feed us the womb? I found the remnants of a crescent fang, it cleaned my wing down to the bone. Umbilical syllables left to decode, there was no cradle. I can taste it, bring me this plague. She took a drink, those nicotine stains on his every word. My scavenger quilt will only hide the truth. Bring me, bring me this plague! I count the days to find what was left behind. Only these names I clutch will lead me to my home. Somehow this river marks a wrinkle hand in mine and everyday that parts the water into two mothers and feathers start to drown the living proof. I can’t remember these lakes of blood wrapped in a blanket. There sweats a cut, who do you trust? Will they feed us the womb? Chrome the fetal mirage. Will they feed us the womb?

Monday is a Requiem

When I met you I was just a kid, hadn’t built up my defenses. So I gave my heart completely, vaseline over the lenses. Memories don’t go away, I remember every day. I never ever stop wondering, wondering if you still think of us. I don’t need a photograph cause you’ve never left my mind, no you’ve never left my mind! I remember feeling like a ship whose captain was too drunk to steer and you watched as I was sinking, waving sadly from the pier. It’s such a burden to carry ’round the vestiges of dead dreams and I don’t want to make a wake out of my life. I just had to let you go.

Wednesday is Lopsided

This is the accent of the halfhearted land. Does it all make sense now? And if the ship was built in bottled sand does it all make sense now? The anchor's kiss was scrawled in dyslexic crayon, yes it all makes sense now. Is this just a life preserver or a bivouac tenure? The tropic of cancer answered, "drink the quicksand". A mirror was splintered on the deck floor, does it all make sense now? A stowaway that lived beneath this hull, does it all make sense now? The anchor's kiss was scrawled in dyslexic crayon, yes it all makes sense now. Is this just a life preserver or a bivouac tenure? The tropic of cancer answered, "drink the quicksand". It's gills will swim faster after a breath from the shore, breathe the taste of salt water, dry heave up and overboard. Ponce de leon wrinkles, let's make it young again. Boat drinks for captains, row our boat stowaway. It all makes sense now. If our map was torn, navigate. Navigate if your compass broke, navigate, navigate.

Tuesday is Borrowed

When I was younger, living confusion and deep despair. When I was younger, ah hah, living illusion of freedom and power. When I was younger, full of ideas and broken dreams (my friend). When I was younger, ah hah, everything simple but not so clear. Living on borrowed time, without a thought for tomorrow. Now I am older the more that I see the less that I know for sure. Now I am older, ah hah, the future is brighter and now is the hour. Living on borrowed time, without a thought for tomorrow. Good to be older, would not exchange a single day or a year. Good to be older, ah hah, less complications everything clear. Living on borrowed time, without a thought for tomorrow.
